These vintage hairpins/combs are a unique piece of Ethiopian jewelry. The combs are estimated to be from the 20th century and is an original piece. The combs are attributed to both the Amhara and Tigray regions in Ethiopia. They are intricately detailed and also resemble an orb. Anthropomorphic adornments consistently capped with a stylized Coptic cross. (Can buy in a lot or separately)
