This is a nice example of a vintage Turkmen amulet pendant made of silver decorated with silver filigree wire and two bezel set flat cut carnelian stones. The chain dangles at the bottom with two square silver beveled carnelian charms and a single flat diamond shape in the center.

Turkmen tribes are semi-nomadic people located in Western and Central Asia and well known for their artistry with metal. Their jewelry is crafted not only for its beauty but also for spiritual and protective qualities. Their tradition believes precious stones are beneficial to human health. Carnelians and silver are worn as protection to ward off illness. In Turkmen culture, the amount of jewelry a person wears is equated to a person's rank in society.

There is some bending at the bottom. There is also a missing bottom loop.
