Late 19th/early 20th century Turkmen Yomut hat. The hat displays a highly imaginative working of color and pattern. The multicolored consists of blue, green, maroon, and beige. Geometric shapes fill the entirety of the hat. The Turkmen were a nomadic tribe native to Central Asia, mainly Turkmenistan. The Yomuts, however, are a Turkmen tribe. 
 
The hat is in good condition.
