This is a Stone Islamic Oil Lamp dating back to the 14th/15th Century from Afghanistan. It is an antique original piece that likely served as a functional and decorative item in Islamic households during that time period. The lamp has etched sides created a simple but effective pattern. The piece is hand carved. 
 
The lamp is in fair condition considering age and use.
