These are Japanese wooden lentels/brackets, originating from Japan. It is an antique original piece made of wood, showcasing traditional craftsmanship from that era. The pair showcase some type of wild cat laying on a branch with their legs and tail hanging down. The negative space of the hanging legs/tail helps add a dynamic and real feeling to the piece. Both brackets are full of carved flowers and textured branches. There are notches on the back for easy hanging.
 
The pieces are in very good condition, with some wear on the back.
