This Japanese Imari Ware bowl features a double motif design with a red center medallion. It is crafted in Japan and reflects Japanese culture. Imari ware is brightly colored and normally consists of blue and red. They were exported to Europe in large quantities during the 17th and 18th century. The bowl is full of different patterns, both geometric and natural. The two birds in the middle of the medallion symbolize love.
 
The bowl is in good condition and looks to be hand-painted.
