An early 20th century Indonesian carved horn Wayang Style figural handle. It possibly depicts Dewi, the goddess of water and fertility who in Balinese tradition ensures a flourishing rice harvest. The figure stares straight ahead with its arms folded close over the chest. She wears a skirt and a tall headdress very similar to those seen on the Indonesian Wayang Theatre style shadow puppets. The center cavity of the horn is visible at the top and bottom. The piece was possibly once used as a knife handle. It comes with a custom-made base mounting.

The face is missing a portion of the nose.
